DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last updated 15 June 2026 Β· GGAMEHOST LLC
Scutex (operated by GGAMEHOST LLC, a U.S. company) respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects our customers to do the same. This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (βDMCAβ, 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512) and how affected users can respond.
1. Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe material hosted on our network infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent (below) that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to locate it (e.g. the full URL and IP address).
- Your contact information β name, address, telephone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the ownerβs behalf.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
Notices must be sent to our Designated Agent:
- Agent: Copyright Agent, GGAMEHOST LLC
- Address: 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA
- Email: abuse@scutex.io (subject line: βDMCA Noticeβ)
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
3. Our response
On receipt of a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material and will make a reasonable effort to notify the affected customer. Because we provide infrastructure rather than the content itself, we may forward complete notices to the responsible customer for direct resolution.
4. Counter-notification
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the Designated Agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., the District in which GGAMEHOST LLC is located), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10β14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the activity.
5. Repeat infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service, we maintain a policy of suspending or terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of customers who are repeat infringers.
6. Non-U.S. and other complaints
For copyright matters outside the scope of the DMCA, or other intellectual-property and abuse complaints, please contact abuse@scutex.io. See also our Acceptable Use Policy.
